Hello, I am Erica! I received my master’s degree in counseling from Western Illinois University and have been in the mental health field for almost twenty years. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that it is my role to help clients better understand themselves to achieve their goals. I believe that therapy can be a transformative process and people can truly live the lives that they envision for themselves.
My approach to therapy is person- centered, with the foundation of the Cognitive Behavioral perspective, which includes techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in session. I have a strong focus on self-reflection and self-discovery, allowing individuals to unlock their true thoughts and emotions. With this new awareness you can start living a life more aligned with your goals and values. I have clinical experience working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, grief, women’s issues and more!
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors with my dog, riding my bike, listening to music and going out to restaurants.
