My experience has focused on anxiety, depression, adjustment issues and trauma. I have completed coursework in clinical supervision and I am able to provide supervision in the State of Illinois. My theoretical orientation for counseling is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) and Trauma Focused-CBT. Additionally I use Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am Board Certified as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Nationally Certified School Counselor (NCSC), and a Certified Trauma and Resilience Clinical Practitioner (CTRP-C).

I love life! I am a full-time mom of 3 super awesome kids and two small dogs named Beau and Jerry. I am driven, determined, passionate, open-minded, energetic and spiritual. I am also hard headed, feisty and hard on myself. I enjoy traveling, exploring new things/places, outdoors (hiking, kayaking, soaking up a beautiful scenery that transforms me to a different place), reading, working out, playing, gardening, hanging out with friends socially.

M.S. Ed, LCPC, NCC, NCSC, CTRP-C
