I am an easy-going person with a curious nature and a love of the outdoors and my family, which includes my husband and our four kids and dog. In my free time, I can be found going for walks or jogging, playing the piano, dabbling in crocheting or photography, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. I have wanted to be in a helping profession from as young as I can remember, and I truly love what I do. I have a relaxed presence and consider it

Meet Nikki Ebener

my privilege to walk on your therapy journey with you side-by-side to explore new ways of thinking and understanding ourselves in our environments.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered, drawing interventions mainly from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I believe all behavior is purposeful, all emotions are valid, and that change is always possible with the necessary determination and support. I graduated in 2013 from Western Illinois University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am currently pursuing clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. I have experience working with clients of all ages in both office-based and school-based settings, addressing concerns of anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues and more.
